DIMRI

Dimri is not really a 'neighborhood' rather a popular complex located at the top of Shimshoni (Hamagenim), near the center of town. It has become colloquially referred to as an area in and of itself (though 'Dimri' is actually a developer that has built many buildings/houses throughout the city) as it consists of 9 buildings and has created its own community.

Atmosphere

Dimri refers to the towers in the center of town (well known for their arches and unique architecture). They have evolved as their own community with its own unique charm and character.

Community

Dimri tends to attract seniors and retirees (it has been veering a bit younger over the past few years with it attracting people in their 60's and upwards). There are also some families who choose Dimri due to its central location and larger apartments.

Amenities

Dimri is centrally located - so it is close to the pool, train, center of town and the mall. Within the towers themselves there is a shul (Ashkenazi-Anglo) that mostly attracts seniors in the buildings. There are also doctors' offices in the buildings, as well as hairdressers/fitness studios/offices.

Housing Options

Dimri apartments are mostly 5 room apartments (some convert them to 4 rooms to make larger master bedrooms), and they are usually 4 per floor, 2 facing the center of town (East facing) and 2 facing the quieter side (West facing) with beautiful sunsets. The building is popular as it is fully accessible and all apartments are one-floor.

Dimri is perfect for us!

We are an older couple, retirees who moved to Modiin to be near family, but wanting our own community. We have found ourselves surrounded by friends in all the different buildings. We are close to everything - the pool, the tennis courts, the train, the mall and the center of town - so we can walk everywhere and it is all so easily accessible.

Want to Explore Dimri?

We'd be happy to plan a Dimri Property Tour to showcase the real estate options in the area...
